The goal of ClearPath FOD and the GSE Baggage Cart FOD Sweeping Mechanism is to reduce the seemingly constant debris field created with airport gate operations. By utilizing existing and abundant GSE bag carts, it is possible to create an entirely new category of FOD sweeping devices without need of additional ground vehicles or labor while still maintaining existing ground operation workflows. In turn, airlines can reduce the direct and indirect damages of FOD to help protect their biggest asset, the aircraft.
